If your vehicle’s air conditioning system is not blowing cold, chances are it is low on refrigerant, the fluid/gas found in the system. Theoretically, it is a sealed system and should never need to be topped up. So if it does, it is a clear indication that there is a leak.
There are environmental regulations that prohibit us from simply recharging the system without also detecting and repairing leaks. If the leak is minor and undetectable, we will add dye to the system when we recharge it. And the next time you bring in your vehicle, we can use a UV light to more easily identify the leaks and take steps to repair them.
